چکیده

In this paper, we study numerical solutions of the time-space fractional wave equation in a complex domain. The fractional time is taken in the sense of the RiemannLiouville differential operator while the fractional space is assumed in the SrivastavaOwa differential operator. Here we employ some properties of the univalent functions in the unit disk to determine the upper bound of this solution. The maximal solution is illustrated in term of the generalized hypergeometric functions. Numerical solutions are determined for systems of fractional differential equation involved wave equation. Moreover, applications are illustrated. Optimal Control of Plasmodium Knowlesi Malaria in Malaysia Mohammed Baba Abdullahi, Yahya Abu Hasan, Farah Aini Abdullah Abstract. We present a SVIR + SI model to describe the interaction between human and Anopheles leucosphyrus group of mosquito population. Control strategies inform of vaccination, in susceptible human, treatment on infected humans and chemical and biological control against the mosquitoes. An optimal control approach is applied in order to find the best way out the disease. Numerical simulations of the problem, suggest that applying the three control measure can effectively reduce if not eliminate the spread of Plasmodium Knowlesi malaria in a Malaysia. Global Stability for Thermal Convection in a Couple Stress Fluid Saturating a Porous Medium with Temperature-Pressure Dependent Viscosity: Galerkin Method

A global nonlinear stability analysis is performed for a couple-stress fluid layer heated from below saturating a porous medium with temperature-pressure dependent viscosity for different conducting boundary systems. Here, the global nonlinear stability threshold for convection is exactly the same as the linear instability boundary. This optimal result is important because it shows that lineari...

Thermosolutal Convection of Micropolar Rotating Fluids Saturating a Porous Medium

Double-diffusive convection in a micropolar fluid layer heated and soluted from below in the presence of uniform rotation saturating a porous medium is theoretically investigated. An exact solution is obtained for a flat fluid layer contained between two free boundaries. To study the onset of convection, a linear stability analysis theory and normal mode analysis method have been used. For the ...

On the onset of triple-diffusive convection in a layer of nanofluid

On the onset of triple-diffusive convection in a horizontal layer of nanofluid heated from below and salted from above and below is studied both analytically and numerically. The effects of thermophoresis and Brownian diffusion parameters are also introduced through Buongiorno model in the governing equations. By using linear stability analysis based on perturbation theory and applying normal m...

Adjustment of the Remote Tropical Climate to El Niño Conditions

The adjustment of the tropical climate outside the Pacific (the “remote Tropics”) to the abrupt onset of El Niño conditions is examined in a tropical atmosphere model that assumes simplified vertical structure and quasi-equilibrium (QE) convective closure. The El Niño signal is rapidly ( 1 week) communicated to the remote Tropics via an eastward-propagating Kelvin-like wave that induces both an...

Buoyancy Term Evolution in the Multi Relaxation Time Model of Lattice Boltzmann Method with Variable Thermal Conductivity Using a Modified Set of Boundary Conditions

During the last few years, a number of numerical boundary condition schemes have been used to study various aspects of the no-slip wall condition using the lattice Boltzmann method. In this paper, a modified boundary condition method is employed to simulate the no-slip wall condition in the presence of the body force term near the wall. These conditions are based on the idea of the bounce-back ...

Thermal Convection in a (Kuvshiniski-type) Viscoelastic Rotating Fluid in the Presence of Magnetic Field through Porous Medium (TECHNICAL NOTE)

The effect of magnetic field on an incompressible (Kuvshiniski-Type) viscoelastic rotating fluid heated from below in porous medium is considered. For the case of stationary convection, magnetic field and medium permeability have both stabilizing and destabilizing effect on the thermal convection under some conditions whereas rotation has a stabilizing effect on the thermal convection. In the...
